Mountain Bear, Chief of the Tennessee Longhair Clan, and Black Star, Clan Mother, renewed their vows with a traditional Cherokee Wedding Ceremony.
Hawk Dancing and Quiet Bear helped several of our kids learn the basics of Traditional and Fancy Indian Dancing. Later, these young men danced before and after our ceremonies. Hawk Dancing even showed off his hoop dancing (he's still learning the moves on multiple hoops, but that didn't keep him from showing everyone what he's got!)
The ladies performed the Green Corn Ceremony, the men performed a Pipe Ceremony, and a number of new members received names.
We even had a birthday celebration for Chief Man Many Trees!
